About Us
Tessa co-founded Static with drummer and long time friend/collaborator Jacob Vahey in January 2026. The duo is influenced by hard rock and grunge sounds of bands like Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, and Mammoth, and they write and produce all of their music. Their sound includes loud drums, gritty vocals, and plenty of distortion. They play live as a hard rock trio with Elena Simon, as well as an unplugged duo.
Music
In June of 2026 Static released their first single “Break Out”. The song was entirely written, performed, and produced by the duo, with Tessa on guitar, vocals, and bass and Jacob on drums and guitar.
